The River Club Golf & Learning Center

Great nine hole course that can be played as 18 with alternate greens. The staff is fantastic and the newly opened restaurant is surprisingly good. My only fault would be that it just seems a little overpriced for the course. With that said the staff is done an amazing job keeping the place playable after all the heavy rains and floods.

I would like to start by saying that I completely understand that we do not have control over the weather, that being said….. I live a little over an hour away from this course and called before hand to see if I could get out as a single before I came. The man on the phone said sure come on over and we will get you out. I arrived at the course and went to the clubhouse paid and hit the tee box. I thought it strange that no one was on the course. I soon found out why. The course was literally a plowed field! There were actually tractors on the course tilling up the fairways. The cart paths were covered by dry mud and like driving down a dirt road. The place had been under water due to the recent rain and flooding. I understand that. My problem is that there was no mention of how bad the course was! You could literally not hit a ball on 95% of the course. At least let the people know what’s going on and not smile and take their money and send them out to play for all that. Highly disappointed.

Played 18 holes with my son. Pace of play was great. The greens were in super shape. Unfortunately, it was cart path only, but it was definitely too wet for carts. Really enjoyed the round.
