What people say about (Mason Rudolph Golf Course)

Shawn J O'Hara

They have closed the nine hole course and let all the greens go to pot. Haven't updated the web site. Driving range only is open. Parks and recreation dept head is indecisive on making it a park or something else. IMO It's a money grab type situation, let the course go ask for funds to repair it or sell it to developers. It's truly a shame as it was a nice nine hole course. It was great for beginners and junior golfers. Perfect for senior golfers who still want to play and stay active but don't have the stamina to do the big courses anymore and affordable also since many of them are on a fixed income. Hope this saves you from driving there thinking you'll hit some balls and play a quick nine holes. Be well and hit em straight.

Went to support continued operation of golf course. Replacing this course with a play park is nonsense. It can and should be continued as a golf course. Team up with leadership from APSU and operate it to be cost effective and self supporting. There is ample land owned by city nearby for a sweet park for all to use.

The driving Range is the only part open. A bucket of balls is cheaper than anywhere else in Clarksville. The only downside is when I went you had to hit off of a mat. I don't know if that is normal or because of it being so late in the year.
