What people say about (Mount Charleston Cabins)

Cozy little cabins in the middle of the most beautiful scenery. The staff was so friendly and helpful to us. They had a complimentary dvd library which I thought was so sweet. There was also a small complimentary breakfast with stuff like granola bars, oatmeal, yogurt. We had never experienced anything other than Texas snow, so being here during a winter storm was such an amazing and new experience for us. My only suggestion would be to include a list of policies to every guest, just so they are aware of expectations. We were woken up 3 or 4 times one night from very noisy neighbors between 11pm-3 am. Since there is no staff this late, no policies stating quiet hours, and since we didn’t feel comfortable confronting the group, we weren’t sure the best way to address the issue. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we will absolutely be returning.

Came here on the 13th of April and stayed one night. First off the staff here are very polite and helpful. The staff were very understanding when the room we were given had problems like no hot water, fireplace wasn't working, and the heater didn't work. . So they gave us a new room that yes the fireplace worked but the heater did not. The room was ok, but out dated completely..... The patios wood was outdated and you can see screws and nails sticking out so watch your step plus old wood splintering so if you leaned or stepped on a sharp old piece of wood you would get a splinter. . The rooms bed was stiff and appeared old.... The couches were warped and peeling.... The shower barely had hot water and it was just warm for a shower.... The tubs jets had mold inside so no hot tub feature used. The window and certain parts of the room had spider webs and Cobb webbs. . Not knocking this place as I know it may seem but if they updated these cabins and wood steps and more they'd make a solid profit. . I personally would not return due to the fact of how uncomfortable the ved was I did not sleep at all. Mainly tossed and turned all night long. The fan would legit turn on by itself and shut off by itself as if a ghost was their messing with me lol but it was electrical as it was again outdated. . The coffee was trash.... Watered down and definitely would lf preferred a stronger pot so if you come here bring your own! . The view was decent and having a small refrigerator and microwave was helpful. Only benefit I would say to anyone is yes the view was decent other than that hard pass. I can spend $200.00 on a room that actually is updated.

10 out of 10 experience! Our family absolutely loved the cabins for our Xmas vacation. It was quaint and cozy. I had cabin 19 and the views over the balcony were aaaamazing! Even the views from our bed in the mornings were incredible, Our cabin included a mini fridge and microwave with a fireplace in the center. Keep in mind, the jacuzzi hot tub/shower is next to the bed. Everyone who worked there was super welcoming, super friendly. In the lobby they had hot chocolate packs for us and free movie rental. Meals: before our trip they mentioned in emails about no restaurant on site. But that is not a problem at all. I saw other families use the facilities Grill and there is also a restaurant 2miles out. We just drove down the mountain to eat out, which is only like 35mins from the cabins. Activities: There is plenty of hiking trails and also Lee Canyon, the ski resort. Highly recommend for families!
