Wonderful picnic area! Highly recommend. There’s an entrance fee to get in and I would get there early to avoid lines and crowds! The spots are first come first serve. Make your way here if you’re looking to get away from the city!
Beautiful hiking area. Humans have left trash everywhere and the garbage cans are overflowing. The bathrooms are gross , do not even open the door! This area has multi-million dollar mansions yet the public area is trashed . Sad to see the division of classes so blatant here. This could be one of the nicest hiking and view spots of the world if it was properly taken care of.
This is a nice place to relax and escape the summer heat in Las Vegas. It’s at least 20-25 degrees cooler here than in the city. You do have to pay to access the picnic area unless you have an America the Beautiful pass. There are lots of picnic tables and lots of them have good shade. It was so nice to just sit outside eating peanut butter and honey sandwiches with my family while taking in the 70 degree mountain air. There’re beautiful views all over. We’ll definitely be back!
