Lee Meadow

Lee Meadow is a great place to go sledding when we are lucky enough to get snow. There are a few possible hills to go down, from high thrill, to nice and chill. Make sure to bring some chairs, water, snacks, and a thermos of hot chocolate to have a comfortable and unforgettable time. It can get quite chilly up there, and all that sledding can work up an appetite. It's one of the few places on the mountain that sledding is still permitted. We always have an amazing time when we go. Also, there are no bathrooms, so keep that in mind when packing for your trip.

It was lovely here. To visit as the snow is melting but just enough snow to still sled down the mountainside. It was perfect for just bringing out some chairs and sitting for a while, but also enjoying the snow. Not too cold and not too warm, and it was a beautiful escape from the Las Vegas weekend heat.

I love this place. Nice wide open area where you don't have to worry about hitting big rocks or trees. Plenty of space to sled down the slope. Parking is across the street and can fill up quickly. The main rule is to not have your back towards the slopes. Always look up the slope and be aware of incoming sled riders. Most of them don't have any control of their descent. No bathrooms. Snow is hard packed, so it is great for sleds. Again, do not have your back towards the slopes unless you want to end up on a YouTube blooper video. Remember the sunscreen and eye protection. The sun reflects off the white snow making it very bright and easy to sunburn.
