Shanty Creek Resort - The Legend Golf Course

Family owns a time share at Shanty Creek. Been coming for year's. We love the space, great view with peace and quite. We just wish they would listen about upgrades, ceiling fan with light, screen doors for cross breeze and it would be great if there was a firepit.

Not sure what has happened to this golf course as it used to be one of the premiere courses in Michigan. I played it in early June on a Saturday and it was in terrible condition. I paid the twilight rate and still felt as if I overpaid. They also allowed a huge group of drunk golfers to hangout at the 18th green and holler and make all kinds of noise and play music way to loud and they were urinating right by the cart path. Absolutely terrible condition and service. I was extremely upset with how shanty creek has allowed what was once an awsome course and experience fall so far off what it was.

This course was in fantastic shape when I visited last month. I got super lucky and got to play solo with 20 minutes on either side of me and it's just beautiful. The signature hole was picturesque and met a lovely resident there too. 100% worth checking out.
