Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel

the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel is a beautiful site to behold. Nestled inside of Callaway Gardens this beautiful chapel sits on the edge of a small lake with a beautiful creek flowing by. the peacefulness and serenity that you experience when visit this place really makes you want to just sit for a while. I do wish I would have been able to hear the organ play while we were there, because I am sure that it just adds to the beauty of this place. if you are visiting Callaway Gardens, make sure you drive down the quiet little road until you come to the entrance of the Chapel.

This could be the single best experience at Callaway Gardens if you are seeking a peaceful, spiritual, empowering experience. Organist playing Saturday & Sunday between 1pm and 3pm. A must.

A beautiful chapel near the lake. Wonderful stained glass windows. Worth the walk. There's a lot of steps but even with arthritis and taking our time we were able to enjoy it.
