Callaway Gardens

We explored the butterfly exhibit, the azalea garden, discovery center and Cason’s garden. Cason garden had entertainment and food stands. I had a wonderful time and wish I had came earlier in the day. Beautiful scenery, Lots of trails and outdoors to explore. I don’t golf so not sure about that. Definitely a good place to explore if you like to hike trails and see beautiful flowers and nature. *also the nachos they sold were delicious 🤤

I played the Mountain View course yesterday. One of the worst golf courses i have ever played. The greens were full of weeds and in a lot of areas there was no grass just sandy. The fairways were full of weeds and ground was very hard. It seems they have no interest in properly maintaining this course. Believe me when I say it was not worth the 2 hour drive to get there. Do not waste your time or money to play this course.

It's a real shame what happened to this course I can remember as a little guy watching PGA events out there but now as an adult the course has fallen off. It's beautiful and I regularly play there but the greens are extremely slow. The fairways need some love but you can tell the financial requirements for correct maintenance aren't being met. Love the course but it's OK not great and they have deals on it all the time.
