Callaway Gardens Robin Lake Beach

What a beautiful place. This lake is a refreshing little retreat from the summer heat. The Aqua Pad provides laughs from participants and spectators alike. They have a limited menu for food and a full bar. A local band provides good music later in the day. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be coming back.

I'm pretty disappointed. It is a beautiful place but seemed very unkempt. It's been a long time since we've visited, and we were upset to see the horticultural center closed down and decaying. Cason's garden was about 50% weeds and mostly flowers. (It's supposed to be a veggie garden). The chapel was as gorgeous as ever! If you're going to go to the beach while you are there, it might be worth the price, but otherwise, not so much.

We attended the Gardens Winter extravaganza, Fantasy in Lights. What an amazing spectacle. Our tickets were for the 6 PM boarding of the open air trolley. After a short wait, we were seated. My wife brought jackets, sweatshirts and a blanket. It was a chilly 35°. The ride was exciting with many holiday scenes and recreations of classic Christmas activities. A wonderful trip and a fantastic presentation.
