Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort

Hilton Head Island never disappoints, but Palmetto Dunes specifically is the perfect place for a family vacation. Our crew of six enjoyed being able to ride bikes everywhere-from the beautiful shaded paths, to the general store for ice cream, and even on the beach during low tide. The Dunes House was reasonably priced, amazing chefs and service, and beachfront location was so convenient. We loved the stunning sunset at Shelter Cove and the Tuesday night fireworks! Wildlife and beauty everywhere you turn.

We have rented this villa several times in the past. There is a reason for this ; it never disappoints ! For the seven of us, there were plenty of beds, ample storage, a fun gaming center, well apportioned kitchen, large living area and an outdoor deck big enough for all of our toys. The close proximity to the complex pool was a value add for our grandchildren. After hours, we biked on the golf cart paths right outside the villa. The General Store is close enough that the grandchildren were able to bike over, with parental supervision. Like I stated ; it does not disappoint. Palmetto Dunes is our favorite area to stay while we visit Hilton Head Island. We are looking forward to our return visit next year. Thank-you !

Love Palmetto Dunes whenever we go. Beautiful place. Condo and view were nice and landscaping and pool areas were beautiful. Won't stay at the Windsor Ct complex again bc access to the beach was very difficult due to a steep, soft dune difficult to maneuver over. Other guests had problems too (some young and some old). Have never seen this problem at other complexes within PD. Showers need updating. Kitchen is great w/ nice gadgets and appliances. Staff at PD is always so easy to work with and accommodating. Love it!
