The course is open with tri level greens. I was there 26 September. The greens were awesome. The fairways showed the stress of the hottest year on record and a little fungus. Under the climate conditions the course was still in awesome condition. The staff were on their game; they were 5 star!
Haven't played there yet but wanted to comment to the fairway haters. While you all are out driving your cart around and drinking bud lites in the 90° to 100° try to remember that ground is that temp of not higher and that beloved fairway turf and greens, well you just can't water enough. Maybe they close in the summer months let the grass survive the heat, cut it back for play through fall winter and spring.
The course is in need of some real help. As you can see from the pictures there are large dead spots on the tee boxes and fairways. Its not a $100 a round course be careful. That being said the staff and the pro shop are amazing and they deserve 5 stars. I had a meal before my round and it was fantastic. The ladies in the pro shop were excellent and it was well stocked with any golf related item you could need. The course needs some real attention then it might be worth the fee.
