Donald Ross Memorial Golf Course

What a memorable course to play. It is in perfect condition and the greens run true - about an 11 speed like all the greens at Boyne Resort course. If you get the ball on your line the ball is going in! A terrific variety of holes faithfully duplicated all in one place. I had my best round of the week with 4 birdies and shot even par 72 from the Orange tees. It was in the 50's with a 5-10 mph breeze. To have more fun, play the appropriate tees. The next tees back are the purple and were too long for me with the fairways not really running. I will be back.

Had a slow round (not the course's fault, the wrong groups were in front of us) and the course is currently only 17 holes as they redo No. 10. But I wanted to say that everyone on the property -- the bag-drop kids, the starters, the pro shop follow-up post round - is attentive to making sure you have a positive experience. I'll continue to play various Boyne properties in the future, and I appreciated how they treated my group with care and respect.

Nice course. Boyne needs to start getting act together, as this was the second course of day and both lacked the experience that is payed for….failed to tell us (until we paid) that hole 10 was closed for renovation. Carts were dirty and no scorecard (again), no signs to point you where to go upon arrival , and bag boys were nowhere to be found. Liked the course but overpaid for an experience that never was….
