What people say about (Donald Ross Memorial Golf Course)

Anessa Kertesz Mueller

Beautiful course, especially in the fall. The fall foillage puts on a show! Shorter course, bunkers, but easily attainable if your a seasoned golfer. The course mimics other golf courses which were favorite holes of Donald Ross. Highly recommend if in the Harbor Springs area. The clubhouse has an ahhhmazing Reuben (turkey Ruben on sourdough) was the best sandwich I've had in ages! Gotta sit on the patio and enjoy the view of the 18th hole while enjoying a post beverage. Cannot wait to play it again. Enjoy!

Nice course just a flawed design strategy. Copying Donald Ross seems like a neat idea but you can not copy the weather, soil, etc. Some holes are being redone. Many of the holes play longer than the yardage because Northern Michigan is a wet soft area not dry and hard where some of the original holes were. My least favorite Highlands course. The Hills course is terrific.

On golf vacation in Michigan. Really enjoyed this course. The cart GPS has the DR holes they're modeled after. Greens and fairways were in great shape. #10 was under repair so we played #15 twice. Highly recommend
