What people say about (Eagle Dunes Golf Club)

Jeremiah Delgado

The staff and starters are phenomenal, the course is challenging and beautiful. Dave and several other employees were incredibly attentive and on top of their scheduling. Yes, some of the greens are worse for wear, but we found that to be a minor blemish that was easy to look past. All in all, great value, great people, great golf course.

Without this massive dry spell I think this course would look a lot better, especially around the greens. The fairways were in good shape on most holes and I would say this was a fairly straight forward course. As someone who does not golf all the time I felt like I was able to manage the course well. My biggest gripe on golf courses in general is their club house. This place was no different with the burgers being microwaved and being stale and the bathroom having heavy piss smell and looked like he wasn't cleaned in a while. Overall, my experience was good and I would gold there again.

Eagles Dunes Golf Club is right the edge of East's and leading into Sorrento. The community is nice and it is a decent public course. I use to live here when it first opened and it was in amazing shape, but over the years they have let it go just a bit. It is still a fun course to play with downhill shots, drivable greens if you can hit the ball long and a tough little 18. Normally it is best to make a tee time in advance just in case, I have gone out there thinking it would be dead and it was packed. It's a reasonable price, but definitely could use a bit more attention. Also be aware of not hitting in outside the fairway as it will be tough to find your ball sometimes. The balls hide in the rough between the weeds and the sand. Overall it is a fun little public course!
