SunBird Golf Resort

My grandfather lives here. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained, most of the seniors that live here are kind and respectful, there are always a few bad apples of course, but for the most part it’s wonderful. There is a full golf course, tennis courts, pickleball, horseshoes, a large swimming pool and hot tub, a post office, and a beautiful club house with an excellent restaurant and bar. The food at the restaurant is always good and service is great. Overall, I think it’s an excellent retirement community.

Great breakfast this morning at the Horizon Room at Sunbird. It’s a hidden gem in South Chandler for breakfast. Inexpensive and a large seating area so typically no wait and fast service. Their hash browns are homemade from scratch and I’d recommend the Biscuits and Gravy Combo.

What’s a unique and beautiful golf course! Great layout, lots of water and just an overall beautiful golf environment! Played 18 and it was a great experience all the way around the course! Thanks for a the great service and beautiful facilities!
