What people say about (Promontory Hills Golf Course and Clubhouse)

Rick Wallace

The Hills course has something for everyone. Top notch practice facilities for the serious golfer. A full 18-hole putting course for the casual player, complete with drink holders for your favorite libation. Stunning views and soothing water features for players and spectators alike. And of course the course. Don’t let the absence of par 4s and 5s fool you. The Hills layout is challenging for golfers of all levels. Last but not least, the clubhouse is a delight for diners and drinkers.

Not your typical par 3 course. It's far from a pitch and putt course with some holes playing around 200 yards from the back tees. It's fun, challenging and a little quirky, with unique greens and obstacles in play. The family style golf cart was a fun way to play, giving the option of all four players riding together. I look forward to playing it again.

This 18-Hole, Par 3 course is precisely what Promontory needed to compliment its two full length 18 tracks (The Dye and The Nick). It's a perfect "1st Day" warm up course when I bring my buddies to Promontory for a long weekend, AND it's a family friendly course that my entire family loves to play. And the 18 Hole Putting Course settles all outstanding bets before a great meal at Sage Restaurant. Lawrence
