What people say about (Adams Reservoir)

Andy Adams Reservoir is a nice little place to come to kayak or fish. Access is limited and the parking lot is a small dirt space on the north side. There is a little pit toilet nesrby.

I hadn't been fishing since I was a kid, which is a long time ago unfortunately. Went to Adams Reservoir and had a great time, even though all I caught were sticks and a bit of grass. Parking is convenient right next to the bank, there is a …

Peaceful spot to start my day with a walk or run! There's a safe path for exercising alongside the road. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸŒ³ …

This was a pleasant little surprise hidden in Layton. We didn’t kayak or paddle board but saw several others doing so with easy access around the reservoir. …

Fun place for photos and family. But no swimming in the water as per the sign, you could still bring a canoe!

I had just gone up to Valley View Golf course and seen the reservoir, I've lived here 23 years and never knew this or the golf course we're even ever here. I'm super surprised and happy these are here today.

would be better if the fish wanted to take our bait. also, the gate is currently not open even though the sign says the reservoir is open during spring. (it’s spring as i’m writing this) …

This reservoir is a great little place for kayaking, my family and I quite enjoy the calm warm water, good shade, and fun coasts.

Excellent birding hotspot: waterbirds, riparian birds, woodland birds, and grazing birds. I come here a lot, and I wouldn't recommend swimming in it. It will semi-perminantly stink your clothes.

Terrible place to go... My family certainly did not love seeing wildlife and calming kayaking around the reservoir. Do not come here, please;)

I hadn't been fishing since I was a kid, which is a long time ago unfortunately. Went to Adams Reservoir and had a great time, even though all I caught were sticks and a bit of grass. Parking is convenient right next to the bank, there is a bathroom, a few picnic tables, and the locals I bumped into were all friendly. Plenty of wildlife to see (mainly ducks and geese when I went) and an overall beautiful little spot to fish or just spend a few hours in nature without having to go way out of your way to get there. Feel very blessed to have places like these dotted around our beautiful state!
