Played here for the first time today. Loved the course. Interesting and challenging with small, mostly elevated and well protected greens. The holes where I stayed out of trouble, I scored well. There is, however, plenty of trouble to be found 🤣. Pace of play was good, my husband and I finished in less than 4 hours. Other golfers were super friendly.
The staff was nice, and I am glad the members were nice as well. NO (and I mean ZERO) signage on the course to show where the next hole is (sometimes tricky). No idea what part of the green the pins are at since there were no pin sheets or even a quadrant layout of where the pins are. For $181 green fees I would expect to have this. Range balls were disappointing as well, slightly dirty and they were old balls. Lots of small things like I listed that would go a long way if they were properly done. Course was 8/10 and challenging from the back tees. We probably had to drive forward to the green 4-5 times since we had no idea where pins were, and that slows things down.
You have to love playing behind two 6somes.. Not even upset about that. More upset about the members not extending the offer to play through. Slowest round of my life. Friday tee time at 130p. Finished at 545. Course was empty. Just got behind to super slow groups. Sad because the course was in great condition.
