What people say about (Hank Haney Golf Ranch at Vista Ridge)

I only played the 9 hole course. It was in pretty rough shape. Really bad grass conditions on tee boxes, fairways, and greens. It is a fun short course but needs to be better care. The greens are really small so you have to dial in your shots, forces you to work on firing at the pin. Not sure it was worth the $16 green fee but at least I got to use a pull cart as part of that. Didn't hit on the range but the grass there appeared much better kept, although the practice balls are weird compression floaters because of the giant pond right in front of the driving range area.

It pains me to say it, but I'm officially out when it comes to this course. Earlier this year, they had a monthly membership of $20 a month. I figured they knew their course sucked, so they priced it to play. Most money is made off of their range anyway. It was great! Yep, the course SUCKS but for $20 or even $40 a month all you can play, it was great. Today I go and its $11 to walk 9! Keep in mind, my guest bathroom is bigger than their greens, there is no par 5 and the 4s are so short you cant use a driver. The tee boxes are a complete mess too. No way it's worth $11 for 9 holes. You can play at MUCH better places for $15. So, if you just want a range, it's not bad. But dont waste your money on playing. Just go somewhere else

I’m really conflicted here. On one hand, the driving range is awesome and the practice facilities as a whole are absolutely amazingly maintained. The price of the range balls is cheap, and service was friendly. But the little 9-hole course is the exact opposite. It is in really, really rough shape. The greens are toasted and just totally lost. Some of the tee boxes were also just totally dead too. There were some areas throughout the course that were swampy and I got out there around noon. I know it’s been hot but I get out and play a lot of courses around town and this one is by and far in the worst shape I’ve seen. The course itself is cute. It was just totally dead. I’m going to try again in a few months and hopefully get to play the course when it’s in better shape.
