Speaking only of the restaurant, Cafe on the Green, and not the golf course itself, do not waste your time! The service is horrible and the food isn’t worth what they charge for it, if they even have it in stock. The current manager, should be bussing the dirty tables because he is definitely not training or managing the staff, or keeping up with the inventory.
Course is in great shape. Son played a tournament there yesterday and was very impressed with the course conditions. Spectacular views as always and truly one of a kind course in North Houston. Greens are small and OB stakes line the fairways, if you spray the ball you will have a long day. Simply enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and have a drink.
I've belonged to Walden on.Lake Conroe Golf Club for 20 years. It is a wonderful and challenging golf course that I have never tired of playing. The pro shop staff is outstanding and goes out of its way to accommodate members, while maintaining the decorum you would expect from a club of this level.
