Lake Tansi Golf Course

We had a group of 8. Due to a tournament in the afternoon, all morning rounds had a shotgun start at 8am. A few guys ordered breakfast and it was very good. We started on time and a full course with A,B golfers on most holes all ran quickly and smoothly. The course was in really good shape and all staff were very nice. We all returned to the restaurant after our round for lunch. Again, it was very good for all 8 of us who had to eat and run and get to our next 18 hole round. I would definitely return.

I am in Crossville visiting family and wanted to play a round or two here before heading back. Glad I did. The course is in great condition. Tees, greens, and fairways are lush and green. Several unique holes are challenging with some tighter fairways. Some elevation differences provide further challenges. It was unexpectedly crowded on Friday afternoon so that in itself tells you it’s a desireable location. Headed back here in Sunday. So I’ll get more pics then.

My husband and I, both active-duty military members, were visiting family and had been looking forward to playing a round of golf at Lake Tansi Golf. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. We arrived just a few minutes late for our scheduled tee time, and instead of being met with understanding or flexibility, we were met with a locked door and a firm refusal from Larry, who would not allow us to pay or play—even though the course’s own website states it is open until 8 PM. This lack of courtesy and unwillingness to accommodate paying customers—especially those who serve this country—is not only disheartening but also unacceptable. We made the effort to support a local course while traveling to honor my great-grandfather, and we were met with nothing but dismissiveness and poor customer service. If Lake Tansi Golf values its reputation and community relationships, especially with those who serve, they need to reevaluate how they treat their guests. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this course to others based on our experience.
