What people say about (Blue Springs Golf Club)

Mark DeCamp

The layout of the course is nice, and it offers a good challenge without being difficult to navigate. I’ve read other reviews mentioning how busy it can get, and that’s accurate. There’s no starter or ranger to help manage pace of play. My tee time was at 2:24, but when I arrived, there were golfers scheduled for later times already at the tee box. I asked the gentleman at the pro shop about starting, and he said I could go out any time close to my tee time. According to the website, tee times can only be booked online. The cost was $46, which I paid at the course, but there’s an additional 12% fee that includes an online convenience fee, taxes, and a transaction fee. I’m also tired of being prompted to leave a tip with every card transaction, so I’d appreciate it if that option were removed from the machine. Overall, the course was in decent shape. I would have rated it 4 stars if it weren’t for the extra financial transaction fees mentioned above.

We had a 715 tee time. When we arrived, they asked us to start the back 9 because of a tournament, which was fine but when we got to 16 they asked us to go to 1 then when we got to one they said just find a hole on the front 9. We got bounced around all day because it was so busy. The Marshall was very nice about it. The holes were in great shape but most of them were not interesting and mostly straight, and all felt the same. Not a bad course just not much variety and super busy

Booked tee time online on golf now. Today was in the 80s and sun was beating down. The course has no water out for their customers. Ball washers aren’t available as well. But worst of all no one checks on you the entire time you’re there. There two employees sitting in the office when ever single green has thousand helicopter seed pods running your chips and putts. 40$ for this is unacceptable. Get you team out of the office and clean off the greens and for god sake put out some water. We won’t ever be coming back course used to have management that seemed to take care of these issues but the kids working today didn’t care enough to even put out water or look at the green. What a joke
