What people say about (Blue Springs Golf Club)

Mark DeCamp

The layout of the course is nice, and it offers a good challenge without being difficult to navigate. I’ve read other reviews mentioning how busy it can get, and that’s accurate. There’s no starter or ranger to help manage pace of play. My tee time was at 2:24, but when I arrived, there were golfers scheduled for later times already at the tee box. I asked the gentleman at the pro shop about starting, and he said I could go out any time close to my tee time. According to the website, tee times can only be booked online. The cost was $46, which I paid at the course, but there’s an additional 12% fee that includes an online convenience fee, taxes, and a transaction fee. I’m also tired of being prompted to leave a tip with every card transaction, so I’d appreciate it if that option were removed from the machine. Overall, the course was in decent shape. I would have rated it 4 stars if it weren’t for the extra financial transaction fees mentioned above.

If Google would let me, I’d give it a zero after our experience today. We had 6 people and booked two tee times one right after another. We were told we couldn’t go in a group together although we were letting duos play through. When we were on the 12th going to the 13th, a guy hit a ball from a tee box the wrong direction at us. They just laughed about it. There were no Marshall’s or employees driving the course. If your ball was not hit directly on the fairway, good luck walking through the 2ft grown grass to find it. The girl driving the beverage cart was very nice.

We had a 715 tee time. When we arrived, they asked us to start the back 9 because of a tournament, which was fine but when we got to 16 they asked us to go to 1 then when we got to one they said just find a hole on the front 9. We got bounced around all day because it was so busy. The Marshall was very nice about it. The holes were in great shape but most of them were not interesting and mostly straight, and all felt the same. Not a bad course just not much variety and super busy
