Landings at Spirit Golf Club

This course is in the worst shape I’ve ever seen. The fairways are non-existent. Tee boxes and greens were decent. Course needs a ton of work before I’d consider playing there again.

I played here yesterday with three other people...women. We waited at least 5 to 10 minutes at every hole to tee off. That was no problem...it was a nice day, the course was crowded and we were fine with waiting a little. About halfway through the back nine a twosome behind us starting hitting into us. We told them that we were waiting on every hole. They started yelling at us and threatened to drive around us (there was nowhere them to go.) We told them that again and one of the men started yelling at us saying that we were "full of shit." We just went on and yes they kept hitting into us. It was very dangerous. When we finished, we reported this event to the course Marshall. They acted as if they had no idea who these men were. The tee sheet is right there on the desk in front of them. I guess these guys were their buddies and they didn't want to do anything about this behavior. So...lesson learned. Next time I am going to call the Marshall on the golf course to ask them to do something. I am going to make it their problem. If they don't respond i'm just going to call the police. We tried to deal with these men civilly. We were greeted with hostility and aggression. The course evidently doesn't care. Someone is going to get hurt and I hope they use this review as part of their lawsuit.

Usually easy course. 1st cut of rough was so tall, you could not find your ball. I lost 5 but found 8 just by looking. I understand 2 cut being tall, but come on. Plus, it was cart path only for no reason. Added about a hour to the round.
