Landings at Spirit Golf Club

This course is in the worst shape I’ve ever seen. The fairways are non-existent. Tee boxes and greens were decent. Course needs a ton of work before I’d consider playing there again.

Usually easy course. 1st cut of rough was so tall, you could not find your ball. I lost 5 but found 8 just by looking. I understand 2 cut being tall, but come on. Plus, it was cart path only for no reason. Added about a hour to the round.

Have been playing here for a couple of years. Hospitality is the best it's ever been, but conversely the condition of the course is at its worst, and they are charging more than ever for it. Greens are marred by ball marks, causing untrue rolls, which sucks because the greens are the main teeth of the course. Some fairways are good, others have areas that you can take unplayable drops from. The good news is that they have a great practice area for chipping, putting, and a range. If they closed the course an hour early and repaired ball marks, the overall experience would be better. Until then, practice not play sadly.
