Excellent facility. Golf course is beautiful and offers a surprising challenge to even the most seasoned golfer. Friendly staff adds to the positive experience. And...new golf carts! Look for Pine Burr to become a golfing destination in this region.
Embarrassed to say that I paid to play here. So many issues that I am not sure where to start. Cart bag holder was broke. Seat was broke. Parking brake didn't work and since the course is mostly hills, one person had to stay in cart to hold brake. Cart ran out of juice and had to be pushed after 4 holes. Maybe I just got a bad cart, so let's talk about the course. You couldn't see a difference in tee boxes from fairways. All tee boxes were so high that you had to tee the ball up to the top to see it. The fairways are what were really sad. Overgrown with pot holes, roots and huge ant mounds. They weren't mowed to the extent that you couldn't see the distance markers, if more than one exists. The greens we're fairly decent, maybe 6.5-7. Good considering what you pay. The course has so much potential and has the chance to be quite challenging, but I wouldn't play there again for free because it felt like one of those old courses where they play soccer golf, that is exactly the shape it is in. This too can change and I hope it does. Nice area, tons of potential but in it's current state I should have demanded a refund, especially since I only got to play 4 holes with the whole cart ordeal. At least me and my son got our cardio in!
The greens are nice, not to fast. The fairways are decent, They keep up with them. The only problem they have are their sandtraps seem to always hold moisture so they are very very hard to hit from. Overall fun course for a decent price.
