What people say about (Cheona Trails Disc Golf Course)

Trey Byrd

My wife, 6 year old son, and I played disc golf for the first time here this weekend. The exercise was fun, and the course was challenging. We parked our golf cart at the beginning and walked the first 7 holes. At the eighth hole, I retrieved our cart so my son and wife could rest. Halfway through #8, a Park Ranger made us leave the course because, apparently, GOLF carts aren't allowed on the DISC GOLF course. We were in a common area on hole #8 among picnic tables, yet not allowed to finish. So we left. Campers of the RV Park should be allowed to use their golf carts on the course. This is my opinion, and I may not return unless that rule is changed. We even purchased new discs from Sippi Steve's. Please reconsider this rule. Other than the tee boxes being incomplete, the course is growing in nicely. Stay on the fairway, and play the distance that you feel is fair to you. As a first time player, I was +9 through seven holes from the short tees.

This was lot a fun to play disc golf at. But it is the only one you do have to pay for in the state of mississippi. It cost five dollars per person, no matter the age. I don't know how much it is to play the disk golf because it was free when I went. But they did inform me, and that's gonna change soon

Still a work in progress but overall a great course for a few beginners! Thank you Orange Man for helping us out!!
