Indian Springs Metropark Golf

Indian Springs Golf Course continues to disappoint in ways that are hard to ignore. While the course itself has a beautiful layout with natural surroundings, the management and operations are falling short — especially compared to other Metropark courses. One of the biggest issues is the ongoing favoritism toward local regulars. If you're not a familiar face, don't expect fair treatment. Groups are getting reshuffled so the regulars can go off early or skip ahead, even if you booked your tee time in advance and arrived on time. Paying customers deserve equal treatment — not to be pushed aside for the “inner circle.” The condition of the course isn’t much better. Some bunkers haven’t seen maintenance in so long that small trees — six inches tall or more — are literally growing out of them. That’s not a minor detail. It’s a sign that routine upkeep is being ignored. Even worse, the grounds crew is out cutting the course during active play. Groups are being held up mid-hole while mowers drive across the course with no urgency and no warning. It kills the pace, disrupts rhythm, and shows a complete lack of planning. That kind of interference should never happen in the middle of a paid round. The kitchen is another letdown. While other Metropark courses have food hot and ready by the time early groups make the turn, Indian Springs is still trying to fire up the grill. If you’re hoping for a breakfast sandwich or anything hot before 9 a.m., good luck. Bottom line: Indian Springs is being left behind because of the operations and management. Between the favoritism, poor maintenance, disorganized groundskeeping, and slow kitchen, it’s just not worth the frustration anymore. There are better-run courses in the Metropark system where customers are treated with respect and the operation feels like it’s actually ready for golfers. Not sure I will be going back.

The traps have never been spectacular at Indian Springs but have always enjoyed the course layout and the price is right. Now all the traps are just marked GUR with spray paint. A notice on the website about course conditions would gave been nice. Hopefully they plan on adding new sand but not worth the price if having to get a daily pass to enter the park

I like the layout but they need to do something with the sand traps if your not hitting off concrete its flooded with water. Also it would be nice if they had there own way to book when they dont answer the phones Golf Now, Teeoff they suck especially if you book day of and have to cancel you basically are screwed!
