This place is a great venue for golf getaways and hanging out to watch the big game. They have wonderful food, a great atmosphere, and a friendly staff. They even have simulators that you can play on in the winter to keep your game sharp!
Great course for all skill levels. The back nine is your best challenge. Several dog legs.
This course used to be in rough condition years ago but is on the mend and starting to look good! My family and I love the layout. It's built on great land with lots of mature trees, a few hills and water features of varying size on 5 or 6 of the 18 holes. All of this combines to provide just enough obstacles to make the course fun/challenging for mid/low handicap golfers, yet still playable for most beginners. I dont want to hate on States - the nearest course in Vicksburg - as they have very well maintained fairways/greens, but in comparison to Olde Mill I do find their layout to be rather boring. (straight fairways/no obstacles) however its worth noting that States layout may be a perfect option for new/less experienced golfers. In addition to the fun layout of Olde Mill the pro shop staff here is knowledgeable and always helpful/friendly. I have not personally tried the food or simulators yet but I plan to in the future as I've heard good things about both!
