This place is great. It’s a nice local course and the owner is hands on and extremely approachable. Some of these reviews are insane. For the price point, and with the understanding of how this unique course is run, it’s actually a local gem.
Get what you pay for, the course isn't hard, most tee boxes look like grenades went off, fairways are pretty bad, greens play like springboards. Feels like I'm playing in someone's backyard, this is either a good thing or a bad thing, depends how you look at it. In an area with solid courses at a decent price this one is just meh, if you want to ride for $25 or just get out on the cheap, you can do it here but don't expect to have a premier experience by any means. Pic of hole #6 if I recall correctly was probably the best hole on the course, the rest are completely forgettable. Also a lot of comments about overbooking are true.
This course is fantastic, for the cost. It's quite beautiful and well designed. There are very few holes with much danger of rolling onto another fairway. But I will say that when it's busy, you need to be aware while on a few tee boxes. Some of the greens are very close to the next tee box. When the price gets added to the review, it's a 5 star for sure. I definitely intend to play here again. Very friendly staff as well. And a little bonus, just about everything is even cheaper if you pay with cash. Update: Groups of 6 holding up the entire course is ridiculous. I hope this was something that golfers did once they got out on the course. Because of this, the front 9 took us 3 hours. Hopefully, this isn't a common issue. Though it's not allowed on most courses, this type of thing doesn't bother me if they are keeping pace or stopping to let everyone play through.
