What people say about (Fieldstone Golf Club)

Amazing course with an intermediate difficulty level. The course was very well maintained. The only thing holding this back from 5 stars is the pace of play. It took my brothers and I over 5 hours to play 18 because the 2 golfers in front of us were taking too much time. Excellent course! Will be playing it again in the future!

Nice course! Would play here again. Played on a Wednesday around noon and it was $66 with a cart. They have a driving range if you just want to hit some balls. Really nice bar and grille if you want to grab something to eat. Course is in good condition. Staff is really nice and friendly. Pro shop is really nice.

Played here yesterday as a twosome. The first 11 holes we moved along at a nice pace (2 hours for 9) only to arrive at hole 12 behind a foursome that we were not previously following. At Fieldstone you come back to clubhouse after hole 11. The starter came up and we asked him where this foursome came from, we were prevously following a twosome. He went and checked on them and reported back to us in a condensendly tone they were legitimate that they must have stopped in the clubhouse for a "moment" and there was nothing he could do. He even stated because we were a twosome that were going to have to wait, even though we never waited for the first 12 holes. So the nice pace turned into waiting on every shot and taking 3 hours to play the back 9. My issue was this foursome who obviously did not stop for a "moment" most likely went into the clubhouse and had lunch thereby relinquishing their position on the golf course. Why not allow us to go in front of the foursome? What is the point of a starter if they are not doing their job of making sure pace of play is being followed? For an $84 green fee, I expect much better and will take our money elsewhere.
