If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to pay premium prices for the privilege of golfing in someone’s back yard, boy do I have the course for you. Pulled up to Warfield Greens in Fraser thinking we’d knock out a quick 9. My buddy pays $40 for him annd his wife…already pricey for a 1,540-yard course that looks like it was designed by someone who’s only heard of golf on a podcast. I get up to pay, and they hit me with a $60 charge for the same round. Same holes. Same cart. Same pothole putting greens. Asked the guy what happened, his response? “Yeah, I screwed your buddy’s price up.” That’s it. No apology. No refund. Just that weird stare like I was the problem for doing math. This course? Man. The greens were lumpy, felt fake, and had more bounce than a trampoline park. Putting felt like trying to roll a ball across a gravel driveway with a leaf blower in your face. I’ve seen better turf at a putt-putt next to a gas station. Layout? Trash. Service? Delusional. Price? Straight-up comedy. Look, if you’re trying to run a golf course hustle out of a field behind a Taco Bell, fine. Just don’t charge me $60 and act like I’m lucky to be there. Do yourself a favor: drive 10 minutes west to Maple Lane. Warfield Greens is the kind of place you golf once, then spend the car ride home trying to decide if it was a prank. Either way, I’m out. This might be one of the worst maintained courses. Even for a little 9 hole this one is absolute trash. These are holes 5, 6 8 and 9. Save your money just go to a municipal or a driving range
