The club house was nothing to brag about but does what it is suppose to. The course was in good shape. If you get sea sick take some dramamine because the greens are the waviest I have ever seen lol. Almost unplayable for the average golfer. Humbling course for sure!
Decently fun course...front 9 was a little packed and slow, but then again it could have been the people in front of us playing the blues and hitting 200yrd max drives...thankfully they only played 9 and the back was fairly wide open. Only gripes would be 17 tee complex not being playable(not a big deal though) and the pond on 10 fairway...I never hit into it at all, but not a very good design to have a 20 yrd wide pond sitting at the 244 yrd mark on a par 5. Who wants to hit a 5 wd off the tee on a par 5? Fun times though...greens were super good.
So much fun! The front 9 and back 9 have very different styles, but both are great to play. Plenty to challenge anyone, the greens are challenging, and the fairways can be tight. And let's not forget the ubiquitous northern Michigan water and wildlife. We golf here often, not only because we enjoy the course, but also because we enjoy the owner. Dave and his staff are friendly and fun, the price is reasonable, and the views are fabulous!
