Wolf River Golf Park

There is a new contender for the best hidden gem in Michigan golf but I don't think it will be hidden for very long. You can feel the influence from courses like Crystal Downs, Kingsley Club, Arcadia Bluffs, the Loop at Forest Dunes as you discover each hole. It feels like classic golf architecture built just a few years ago by the Superintendent Steven Biehl. Every green, tee, bunker and fairway built by hand by one person with a fantastic vision. This is one, like the others listed, that you need to play a few times or go with someone who knows it. You will learn something new every time which for me is a hallmark of a great design. Can't wait to get back, this is how golf should be!

Great track!! Would recommend for all level golfers. Saw an article Wolf River rated top courses in Michigan to play under $100 and it did not disappoint. We were camping up north for a long weekend and played 2 days in a row! What a hidden gem!! The employees were so wonderful and the course was really well-taken care of. The price was right! Will definitely be back next time we are up that way.
