What people say about (Timber Ridge Golf Club)

Mike Weglarz

Excellent golf course and staff. Played Timber Ridge last week, and it was an outstanding experience. The pro "Jason" was very patient, welcoming, and a great host, which transferred over to the rest of the staff, who were friendly and accommodating. The course conditions were top-notch. The greens were a little fast for me (I guess about a 10 + on the stimpmeter), but they rolled true and accurately. I am a 15-handicap and shot 92 from the Black tees, as I was playing with a group of better golfers, but held my own. Hats off to the Head Course Superintendent and crew as well for making the course conditions perfect and ideal, creating a memorable experience. I will be back for sure!

Very solid layout. Watch out for the water on hole 2. Don’t flirt with it! Marshall was solid and enforced pace of play. 17 and 18 are great finishing holes. Ed was a great host! Looking to be back again soon.

What a terrible experience. I have been going to timber ridge to use the practice range for years. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Jason McCutcheon the Director of Golf Operations. What a terrible and rude experience with this person. I expect behavior like this from a ranger or starter, but not Jason McCutcheon the Director of Golf Operations. While I am trying to teach my young son the game of golf on the driving range I had him hit a few out of the "rough" as it is part of the game of golf. Jason McCutcheon while hitting his free bucket of balls while he should be working on creating a better golf experience for young, old, and new golfers alike decided to come ridicule me in front of my young son about hitting balls from the rough not the mat. We were causing no damage to said grass, we were not affecting any other people from learning and growing the game of golf yet Jason found his high horse and decided to make a scene in front of myself, son, and other golfers who are trying to better them selves in a practice area. When I confronted Jason about his lack of class he offered me a free bucket of balls. I offered him a bag of grass seed incase we took a few blades up on the practice area. Cant wait to go back once Jason McCutcheon is replaced.
