We had a lovely and relaxing time at Tara Cove, and especially enjoyed our screened porch overlooking the lake. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the golf course and Marina restaurant. Great place for a rural area vacay when a relaxing time is desired.

Beds are comfortable but furniture, carpets are dated, electrical wiring for hair dryer was out. Place is clean though. Be aware: internet signal is in range from weak to none. No internet 95% of time. We were there New Year's eve so it was kinda frustrating. Staff is great.
We stayed in the Lake Tara Villas, the check-in process was easy but the units are in disrepair. Not up to the Wyndham standards. We asked about driveway lights out, reported running toilets early on in the stay with a ‘thank you’ from staff. During a rainstorm each unit had significant puddles inside from roof and window leaks, 2/3 units we were in we think had animals living in them. The actual area is in the middle of a gated neighborhood that takes at least 10 minutes to get out of, and another 10 to get to anything around.
