St. Andrews Golf Club

Overall I was disappointed. Played here for the first time today. Fairways were not in good shape. Mix of red clay and grass and that’s being generous. Bunkers were ok. Greens were the best part. And the golf carts are horrible.

Golf course is ok. Rough but the try and it plays. The issue is no Marshall to speed up play it's a free for all slow play and ungolf like behavior on the course. And second would be the old man who works on weekend, has glasses. He is the rudest person I've ever encountered working at a golf course. He treats customers like they are stupid and talks down to them like dogs. The sweet ladies that work there are pleasant. But this guy, was working Sunday 5-18, is a complete A hole and makes for a miserable check in expierence.

Sour folks at a generally terrible course. Rocky bunkers, mid-tier greens (very generous here), bad drainage on the course (hello red clay everywhere, goodbye fairway grass), driving range is thrashed, and a HORRIBLE scorched and patchy chipping green. I'll burn $40 before I play here again and I grew up in this neighborhood ffs 🤣 The ONLY upside is that it's cheap, but you get what you pay for. Back to Summer Grove.
