Played here yesterday 4/27/25. The course conditions are not favorable at all, and that's me being very, very kind. 15 out of 18 tee boxes were completely sand or just hard dirt. The vast majority of the course where washout can occur, has. Every single bunker was a pool of water. It did rain recently but certainly not enough to cause this in the bunkers. This is from neglect over a long period of time. I bet you cannot find a can of green spray paint in DeKalb county right now. It's all been used on these greens! While the majority of the greens were oddly well maintained, they were painted on the fringe. I feel a little bad for the local graffiti artists. How is somebody supposed to paint a ninja turtle on a bridge these days!? Our tee time was around 11am. We arrived early to loosen up on the range. Only problem was, there were no range balls available. None. We were informed there were only 2 people working that day (a lady and a guy, both very nice) but they would have some range balls in about 20 minutes. In roughly that amount of time, they brought us about 20 per person (2 of us). It is astoundingly obvious this place is headed for bankruptcy. The pro shop is completely bare. The bar has 5 whiskeys and a couple tequilas...that's it. You can tell a renovation took place but it's clear there's been some time gone by and they just never recovered financially. If you are looking to play golf, this is not the place. You will spend more time being told via the cart gps that you're going too fast, while only going 2mph, which shuts the cart down thus making you have to wait, than you will playing golf. This place was miserable in every sense of the word. The one redeeming factor was the staff (that were present), were both very nice and were trying their best to hide managements missteps.
