Me and my partner went to eat here on Tuesday may 20th 2025 and had the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in a long time , my partner found a hair in his food when we first started to eat but we only saw one at first so we brushed it off and just was using wishful thinking hoping it was one of his hairs but then he kept eating and saw another one and then right after him I found three hairs in my food as well that does not look like our hair at all ! Then the manager proceeded to come and tell us the owner will only give us 15% off our meal for finding a health safety issue and violation , because I know they are supposed to be wearing hair nets and no one was mind you , then not to mention the owner proceeded to come talk to us when we where very nice at first to her then she proceeded to insinuate that we where lying and planting hair in our food over a 30$ meal like we are that broke that we can’t pay 40$ to eat and tip a waitress 😂 this place has the worst customer care and service ever and no wonder staff seems unhappy, the owner is a joke! Me and my company run a marketing company and this is not how you take care of unhappy guests who just came to try and eat some good food and pay and go about their day and instead we got nothing but hairy pubic looking hair in our food and a rude unprofessional owner and restaurant and insulted for trying to speak up and ask for help and to be properly cared for as a paying customer! Food was not good. Would not recommend. Grouper was fried in old burnt grease. Salad was bed of white chunks of lettuce. Erica had a nice personality but food was not good!

Franks Family Restaurant tucked away next to a gas station and Max Pizza, might not catch your eye at first, but it’s a hidden gem worth checking out. I stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 5:30 PM, and the place was packed. Parking is a bit tight, so plan accordingly.
The restaurant itself is small but cozy, with some outdoor seating available. I decided to try the San Francisco Trio, which included shrimp, chicken, and steak in a tomato sauce. It was decent, but not particularly standout. On the upside, they have great drink specials—like the $2 house margaritas, which were a pleasant surprise. They also offer crab on Tuesdays, with options at $14 for 1 pound or $25 for 2 pounds.
Service was impressively quick despite the full house. However, the air conditioning struggled to keep the place cool, likely due to the number of diners. Overall, Frank's offers a unique experience and is worth the drive from Atlanta, especially if you're in the mood for a casual, down-to-earth meal with some good deals.
