Amberwood Executive Golf Course

One of my favorite "Executive" gold courses. You don't have any paralle fairways. Only one side of the fairways have houses. The green are usually in great shape AND ..... If you play this course from the backs (blacks) it is as challenging as most full size courses. 5 holes are approaching or over 200 yards. #7 is 200 plus with a 160 carry over watter. The greens are protected with white sand bunkers. Mind you these are par 3''s. There's one par 4 that plays a touch over 400. I'd certainly recommend this course to anyone visiting or living in the villages

Very nice Executive Golf Course. Certainly meets it's number 4 difficultly rating with numerous holes with carry over water..

Amberwood is one of the more difficult executive courses in The Villages and is rated 4 on a 1 to 4 scale. There is a nice balance to the course and the par 4 number six hole is all you need playing just over 400 yards from the back tees. If you want a challenge but are looking for good views this is for you.
