Broad Stripes Golf & Social Club at Stonecrest

Admittedly I was nervous to play this course for the first time after seeing the “abysmal” comment from a few weeks ago but still wanted to give it a go. After experiencing the overwhelmingly friendly ladies in the pro shop and very nice starter things were off to a great start. As far as the course goes, sure there are parts of the fairways that are not in great condition but the reviews that only highlight the bad does this course an extreme disservice. Are you wanting to play a TPC condition course? Don’t come. Are you wanting a budget friendly round so it doesn’t hurt so bad after you shoot 90+? If so then this is the place for you. The greens were in overall good and quick condition and the majority of the fairways had plenty of grass to chunk it 10 yards from 100 out. Proshop staff 5/5 Course Condition 4/5

Omg so when I first walked in the door, Christine and Anthony made me feel right at home. Super great service! The course is cool with water coming into play on a couple holes but.. Watch out for the sand! Good luck!

The layout is fantastic with many undulations in the fairways and greens. It's early season so the fairways haven't grown in yet but they ran fast . It's a challenging g course more accessible than the courses in the Villages a short drive away.
