The Legacy Club

Decent place, but very average. Anyone who thinks this is a "great layout" has never been to a course with a great layout. This one is quite forgettable, IMO. Nice employees, but they need more training. I thought the food in the clubhouse was good. Good greens overall, but some very bad spots too. Fairways are hardpan with very short grass, making for tight lies that are tough on amateurs like us. I saw the superintendant has painted some lines in an effort to get some differentiation from fairway to rough, that's a good idea, hope it works. Range was tired and needs to be cleaned up. Sand box on 10 literally overflowing with sand, showing careless maintenance. It didn't feel like a private club. The bones are there, it just needs some fresh eyes to see what needs improvement. It seems like the management has been in place for a long time and isn't paying attention to the details to make a good club great. They just aren't seeing the little things and it's showing.

Had the privilege playing this course in a local tournament (weekend of June 21, 2025) and the track/layout/conditions did not disappoint. Tee to green and hospitality were phenomenal! Greens were aerated (I’d say a month ago or so) but totally dialed in with very subtle breaks and slopes into punishing collection areas. Downhill putts also posed a huge challenge as missing the hole/going long did not make for an easy come back. A lot of rain the day before so conditions in the fairways/tees were pretty soft but drained incredibly well. Highly recommend and hope to have the opportunity to play again some day

Great course. The layout is very good. The greens rolled tremendously and the staff was great! Max at the bag drop was very helpful and so were the shop staff and the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back.
