Played here 4 times now in the last month or so ! In the 70’s and 80’s it was la creme de la creme of private golf clubs in Florida ! Where all the rich and powerful would come play ! After many years of strugling it has resurfaced in a big way ! Played 18 today then had a magnificent brick oven pizza that was superb ! Call Sweetwater and reserve a T time ! Won’t regret it !!!
I found it using Google Maps. The big cage door was firmly closed with a sign saying Sweetwater Golf & Country Club. Google Maps tells me to go inside, but the big iron door won't open unless I type in my off number. That's how the 10am tea time went on June 30, 2025. I wish there was a notice about where the pro shop was. I'm still curious. Where do I check in? That's how the greenies went.
The staff is amazing! Every time I go to sweet water I leave with a smile on my face, the club house manager is a stand up guy. Everyone else is very friendly as well. I got a smorgasbord of pizza which was delicious and was prepared quickly, the course itself is great, a lot of fun and unique holes and the price is just right. 10/10 one of my favorites courses.
