First time playing this course. As a Daytona vacationer, have played many courses in the area over the past decade... and this is one of the nicest I've been at. Apparently this course has been under new owners and management over the past couple of years and is definitely on the upswing from what a local has told me. The staff was very helpful upon arriving and showed me where everything was. The cluhouse was beautiful. The "Caddyshack" after the turn has the longest hot dogs I've ever seen. The course was in very good shape, even though the greens had been aerated probably within past few weeks...but still rolled decently. Pretty wide open course. Glad I found this course and look to return.
Was hoping the food was as good as I remember from November 2024. Unfortunately it was not. Fries not crispy, burger over cooked when I asked for med rare. Others in our group said the fish was dry and flavorless.
I joined a couple who are club members for the club's first brunch, and it was so good! We were there at 11am, so they offered brunch and a lunch menu. I had a corned beef benny which was tender brined brisket and caramelized onions over an English muffin with a poached egg on top and smothered in Cajun hollandaise sauce. Absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was great and our server Jillian was so friendly.
