What people say about (Falcon's Fire Golf Course)

Cory Nesselbush

In town with family to do Disney I booked a 7am tee time with my brother in law on our "off day." We showed up a bit early and the staff was friendly and cracking jokes with us from the start, really set a great tone for our vacation round. I had my clubs delivered ahead of time with Ship Sticks and they were there waiting for me. Rusty got us out a few min early and we played our 18 in just over 3 and a half hours: perfect timing for us to enjoy the rest of the day at the pool with the family. Course conditions were better than we expected based on some recent reviews. Tee boxes and fairways were great, thick rough was challenging when we missed a fairway, sand traps were nice enough with rakes in every one, and while a few greens have some damaged areas they didn't impact our play and it's clear they're working to repair them. For what we paid I have no complaints about the condition. Bloody Mary at the turn hit the spot, as did the brunch burger when we finished up. Thanks Falcon's Fire for a great round!

I have golfed here more times than I can count. I don’t know if the owners have changed but we made a early teatime so we can play around in 3 1/2 hours like we do every Saturday and Sunday but they double tea the front line and back nine and backed up 3 to 4 groups on number 10 this is absolutely not how you run it if you’re gonna double tea you runoff six or seven groups on the back nine so you’ll leave it open for everyone making the turn it’s always they do not care about the time level because I don’t even have a range. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location for quite a while. The sunrise was up for a half hour they still were not letting anyone tee off. I think they move from California.

The course itself is well laid out and forgiving. However, everything is super dry and doesn’t get watered enough. The greens were in average condition and the fairways were burnt. For the price, I felt like it was a good deal for an Orlando course, but being a good deal doesn’t make it a four star course to me. I would recommend the course for locals looking for a reasonably priced course. For visitors, this course won’t leave you with much of an impression.
