The City Golf - Sherman Oaks

Imagine stepping into a cozy little slice of Korea right here in the city--The City Golf isn't just an indoor golf simulator; it's an experience. In South Korea, where space is tight, they've mastered this tech, and it shows. The simulator is in English, so it's super easy to navigate. Quick tip: The larger bays have auto putt but no auto tee, while the bays with auto tee don't have auto putt when playing a simulated golf game. Keep that in mind when picking your spot! The real charm, though, is the precious mom-and-dad duo running the place. They're so sweet and genuinely warm, it feels like visiting family. And let's talk about cleanliness--everything here is spotless and so thoughtfully designed, from the advanced equipment to the fans keeping you cool while you swing. Whether you're here for the cutting-edge tech or the heartwarming vibe, this place is one of my favs.... Highly recommend checking it out!

What an amazing practice facility!! They have a mix of launch monitors (all top of the line) depending on your preference, and the bays are all in very good condition. I appreciate them going above and beyond just providing a simulator golf experience by also connecting multiple cameras in each bay to give you live-feedback in addition to the ball/club data from the launch monitor; it's truly an incredible place to practice, and the technology makes it easier/more efficient to make appropriate swing adjustments and improve. Very friendly on-site instructors and staff. They also provide small fans in each bay to help with climate control--I've never needed them, but it's these little things that stand out and show they really are trying to make this the best practice/training spot in LA. Opportunities to improve: As a lefty, I have had some trouble with the launch monitors not recognizing club data. Most of the bays at the Sherman Oaks and Koreatown locations are not lefty-compatible, so if one of the few lefty-compatible bays is booked or not working correctly, it can be frustrating. Hopefully, they can improve the interior design and launch monitor selection at their new location that's opening up in West LA so that lefties don't face similar struggles there and can have consistently good experiences, just like the right-handed golfers. With that said, us lefties make up a TINY percentage of their customers, and the world doesn't revolve around me. I'm just grateful The City Golf caters to us lefties at all. Additionally, it's Foresight's "fault" (the launch monitor manufacturer) that their $15,000 launch monitors are misreading a high percentage of lefty swings, so hopefully they can make things right for The City Golf. Overall, awesome place, and I've been 4 times in two weeks. I'll continue to go here and hope they maintain consistent quality and also improve on the areas mentioned above.

What I personally appreciate about this facility is the flexibility it provides. With the hourly charging system, there's no limit to the number of balls you can hit during your session. This gives you the freedom to practice as much as you'd like and truly hone your skills without any constraints. Overall, it's a fantastic opportunity to experience golfing at its best, with top-notch equipment, a weather-proof environment, and the convenience of hourly pricing.
