What people say about (Heroes Golf Course)

Awesome. Club house is very clean and updated. The staff is friendly. Fairly priced. Holes not too difficult for a relaxing round. First time ever playing so not familiar where each hole was but we managed. Will certainly be back.

Executive course, no reservations, first come first serve, kinda hidden, no driving range, practice for putting. The greens are beautiful for a public course! You can actually see the fairway and rough difference. That means they have a lawn mower that works and maintenance that are good at their job. Lots of trees that can get in between the tee and the flag. Good workout to walk since it's hilly on some parts. Very straight shots recommended as the fairways are right next to each other. My only negative observation is how hole 4 & 5 are not interconnected. You have to walk back the fairway you came from to get to hole #5.

I recently had the pleasure of playing at Heroes Golf Course in West LA, and it’s a hidden treasure. The course is compact and well-designed, offering a fun challenge without the time commitment of a full 18-hole round. The best part? It’s free for veterans, a meaningful perk that truly honors those who’ve served. The layout is perfect for practicing your short game, with well-maintained greens and just enough elevation changes to keep things interesting. The staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just looking for a relaxed round, this course has a lot to offer. Highlights of My Experience: • Course Layout: Well-maintained 9-hole course, great for a quick game. • Veteran Benefit: Free for veterans—a wonderful gesture of appreciation. • Staff & Service: Friendly and professional, making for a great atmosphere. • Overall Experience: Highly recommended for anyone looking for a casual but enjoyable round of golf in West LA. If you’re a veteran or just someone who enjoys a good round of golf with a great atmosphere, Heroes Golf Course is definitely worth a visit!
