What people say about (CSUMB Oaks Disc Golf Course)

Adrian Lizardo

Huge course, I saw hole 20 so I assume it’s 27 holes. The distance is pretty far from each so good to practice long drives. The trees are a part of the course used as markings and obstacles to go through/around. Good course and takes you into two different sections to play through. It took a second to find each cage so rely on the map at each post. Even some starts were hard to find (5 took a minute) but they kind of zip around. Some paths take you close to the street so be careful of cars. Watch your steps to avoid any holes or other nature objects on the floor. There was a big hole near cage 4, but i did like it was filled with pine cones. It’s also right next to the campus police station.

Starts off sort of slow and strange - but ends up being a really cool and complex course with lots of fun.

Great disc golf course. Despite being in the middle of a college campus it is beautiful and makes you feel like you're in the middle of the woods. Way-finding was great for newcomers, although it was tricking locating the baskets on a few holes (bring a compass. you'll see why). Parking was a thing, but we found a pay-to-park lot nearby. Definitely worth a play.
