What people say about (Camarillo Springs Golf Course)

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. My review is between 4 and 5 stars. I played here today for the first time in months. Driving range is closed bc the course is being renovated so there were no range balls flying at us on the back 11 unlike last time. I understand they just got recently bought out. Some of the fairways can have some work done on them but it’s not a deal breaker. The course is nice, offers great views, and not too difficult of a challenging experience. The only thing I wish I could see are ball washing stations. I don’t recall seeing a single one. Not one at every home is necessary but every other hole would be nice bc my balls were getting pretty dirty at times. Overall great course and experience I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Played here yesterday. Camarillo Springs is a nice course. Yes, it's like a muni course with a few rough edges, but no more than I've seen at Los Robles, Marshall Canyon, De Bell, or any of the LA City Courses. I've played here many times. Greens were in great condition. Fast and smooth. Beautiful views of the mountains, very friendly / professional staff & marshalls, and pace of play was under 4.5 hours for the entire round.

I had high hopes for this as a special Mother’s Day outing, but unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. Throughout the round, we dealt with a group of kids behind us who were being loud, disrespectful, and even reckless—crashing into our cart and hitting a tree. Despite calling the marshal three separate times, no action was taken until the 18th hole—the very last one. Even then, the marshal witnessed them hit a tree and still chose not to intervene. Instead, we were told to speed up, despite there being three groups ahead of us who hadn’t even teed off yet. I was told the manager, Beth, would follow up with a call, but I still don’t understand why it took so long for anyone to step in. Overall, the experience wasn’t worth the time, money, or drive.
