What people say about (The Golf Club at Roddy Ranch)

Rick Villa

Roddy Ranch is a very good golf course. The staff is always friendly and professional. Course conditions are usually on the better side. With the drought, I like how they water only the middle of the fairways and tee boxes and greens. Green fees are reasonable, too. It is probably my top course to play in the area. Definitely, a must play.

This is a great layout. Every hole on the course is interesting, no matter how many times you play here. It can be very challenging, especially the first few times you play it. The greens are tough - usually fast with many subtle breaks. The course is generally well maintained, but with the drought, the conditions have deteriorated recently, much like the other courses in the area. The staff here are really nice and treat people well. Fees are very reasonable and they offer a membership that can't be beat if you play a lot of golf. The course is generally busy and play can be slow, especially later in the day, but marshals do a pretty good job.

Caren Johnson

One of my favorite courses in the area. The staff do whatever they can to see that the golf experience is a positive one. Though pace of play on weekends can be challenging, I was given a full rain check at the turn for a particularly slow round (3 hours front nine). I play a lot of golf and love the variety of challenges found on each hole as the course winds through the rolling hills of the east bay. As a member of their e-mail club, occasional special rates are easy on the pocket book.
